About Mrs. Wallis

Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Cicely Wallis, and I am a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at OSHS. This is my thirteenth year at the high school and fifteenth year teaching for the district of Ocean Springs. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. I hold endorsements in Health, Home Economics, Physical Education, Psychology, Social Studies, and Elementary Education (k-4).  Like your child, I attended Ocean Springs’ schools, and I am very excited to be a part of the faculty.

I teach Contemporary Health (required). In the "About" section of my Google Classroom, you will find my Class Rules, Syllabus, and Student Competency Profile. The Syllabus includes a description of my class as well as my policies and procedures.

I am available for make-up work and tutoring Tuesday through Friday 8 am – 8:23 am, as well as during lunch and after school depending on my duty schedule. Your child will need to schedule ahead with me so that I can issue them a pass. My room number is 264. My planning block/office hours are from 10:04 am – 11:55 am this quarter.

Again, I am so happy to be working with your child, and I am looking forward to a wonderful nine weeks full of progress.  If you ever have a question or concern, please feel free to call the school at (228) 875-0333 ext. 264—please leave a voicemail if I am unable to answer, or e-mail me directly at cwallis@ossdms.org.
